NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING

BOARD OF EDUCATION

MEYERSVILLE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT

NOVEMBER 10, 2009

Notice is hereby given that a Regular Meeting of the Board of Education of the Meyersville Independent School District will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2009, at 7:00 p.m. in the Meyersville School Library.

*Items do not have to be taken in same order as shown on meeting notices.

The subjects to be discussed or considered or upon which any formal action may be taken are as follows:

1. Call to Order

2. Pledge to Flags and Invocation

3. Approve Audit Report

4. Communications to the Board and Public Forum

5. Approve Minutes of Previous Meetings

6. Approve Expenditures

7. Public Reporting of Meeting Highly Qualified Teacher Requirements for

2009-2010

8. Select Board Training Goal

9. Vote for Appraisal Directors for Victoria and Dewitt Counties

10. Appoint SHAC Members

11. Add, Revise, or Delete Local Policies as Recommended by TASB Policy Service According to the Instruction Sheet for TASB Localized Policy Manual Update 86 on Second Reading

12. Work on Responses to Questions from Public

13. Adjourn the Meeting

If during the course of the meeting, any discussion of any item on the agenda should be held in closed session, the Board will convene in such a closed session in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Tex. Govt. Code 551.071 - 551.076
