Notice is hereby given that a Regular Meeting of the Board of Education of the Meyersville Independent School District will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2009, at 7:00 p.m. in the Meyersville School Board Room.

3. Communications to the Board and Public Forum

4. Approve Minutes of Previous Meeting

5. Approve Expenditures

6. Approve Substitutes for 2009-2010

7. Consider Tax Discounts

8. Consider Taxation of Personal Property

9. Consider Taxation of Goods in Transit

10. Consider Transfer Contract with Cuero I.S.D.

11. Renew Membership with NAEIR

12. Approve Local Bus Policy & Procedures for Tickets

13. Approve Employee Compensation Plan

14. Employee Maintenance/Custodial/Bus Driver

15. Consider Appraisal District Budget

16. Discuss and Review Proposed Budget and Exhibits for 2009-2010

17. Propose a Tax Rate for 2009-2010

18. Work on Responses to Questions from Public

19. Adjourn the Meeting

If during the course of the meeting, any discussion of any item on the agenda should be held in closed session, the Board will convene in such a closed session in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Tex. Govt. Code 551.071 - 551.076
