NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING

BOARD OF EDUCATION

MEYERSVILLE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT

MAY 12, 2009

Notice is hereby given that a Regular Meeting of the Board of Education of the Meyersville Independent School District will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at 7:00 p.m. in the Meyersville School Board Room.

*Items do not have to be taken in same order as shown on meeting notices.

The subjects to be discussed or considered or upon which any formal action may be taken are as follows:

1. Call to Order

2. Invocation and Pledge

3. Approve Minutes of Previous Meeting

4. Approve Expenditures

5. Communications to the Board and Public Forum

6. Authorize and Update Child Nutrition Program for 2009-2010

7. Consider Professional Carpet Cleaning

8. Consider Quote for Carpet Replacement

9. Consider Quote for Painting

10. Approve Resolution to TASB Concerning Election Rules

11. Report TAKS Math Scores for Grades 5 and 8

12. Add, Revise, or Delete (LOCAL) Policies as Recommended by TASB Policy Service According to the Instruction Sheet for Localized Policy Manual Update 85 on First Reading

13. Approve Shared Service Arrangement with Regional Day School for the Deaf

14. Adjourn the Meeting

If during the course of the meeting, any discussion of any item on the agenda should be held in closed session, the Board will convene in such a closed session in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Tex. Govt. Code 551.071 - 551.076
