NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING

BOARD OF EDUCATION

MEYERSVILLE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT

APRIL 8, 2008

 

Notice is hereby given that a Regular Meeting of the Board of Education of the Meyersville Independent School District will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. in the Meyersville School Board Room.

 

*Items do not have to be taken in same order as shown on meeting notices.

 

The subjects to be discussed or considered or upon which any formal action may be taken are as follows:

 

1.       Call to Order

2.       Invocation and Pledge to the Flag

3.       Approve Minutes of Previous Meeting

4.       Approve Expenditures

5.       Communications to the Board and Public Forum

6.       Approve Transfer Requests

7.       Consider Tuition Rate for 2008-2009

8.       Employ New Teachers

9.       Consider Maintenance/Bus Driver Option

10.   Consider Training Options for Board Members

11.   Approve Workshop Attendance for Superintendent

12.   Report 3rd, 5th, and 8th TAKS Reading Results

13.   Adjourn the Meeting

 

If during the course of the meeting, any discussion of any item on the agenda should be held in closed session, the Board will convene in such a closed session in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Tex. Govt. Code 551.071 - 551.076
