NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING

MEYERSVILLE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT

Notice is hereby given that a Regular Meeting of the Board of Education of the Meyersville Independent School District will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. in the Computer Lab.

*Items do not have to be taken in the same order as shown on meeting notices.

The subjects to be discussed or considered or upon which any formal action may be taken are as follows:

1. Call to Order

2. Pledge and Invocation

3. Approve Minutes of Previous Meetings

4. Approve Expenditures

5. Communications to the Board and Public Forum

6. Approve Renewal of Child Nutrition Program

7. Approve Resolution on EOC Testing to Defer the 15 Percent Provision for Spring 2012

8. Approve Additional Substitutes

9. Approve Instructional Materials Allotment TEK Certification Form for 2012-2013

10. Consider Renewal, Nonrenewal, Termination, and Extension of Employee Contracts

11. Consider Letter of Reasonable Assurance for Staff Member(s) and Substitute(s)

12. Adjourn the Meeting

*If during the course of the meeting covered by this Notice, the Board of Trustees should determine that a closed or executive meeting or session of the Board of Trustees is required, then such a closed or executive meeting or session as authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Section 551.001 et seq., will be held by the School Board at the date, hour, and place given in this Notice or as soon after the commencement of the meeting covered by this Notice as the School board may conveniently meet in such closed or executive meeting or session concerning any and all purposes permitted by the Act, including, but not limited to the following sections and purposes:

Should any final action, final decision, or final vote be required in the opinion of the School Board with regard to any matter considered in such closed or executive meeting or session, then the final decision, or final vote shall be either:

(a) in the open meeting covered by the Notice upon the reconvening of the public meeting; or,

(b) at a subsequent public meeting of the School Board upon notice thereof; as the School Board shall determine.
